My women-owned psychotherapy practice is conveniently located in downtown Evanston in the all inclusive Chase Building.  I provide individual psychotherapy to adults 18 years and older. I am a licensed as a Clinical Psychotherapist in Illinois who has been practicing for over 15 years.  To more comprehensively treat trauma, I have successfully completed advanced clinical trainings in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; both Level 1 - a 78 hour training course to address Affect Dysregulation, Survival Defenses, and Traumatic Memory and Level 2 - 126 hour training course to address Emotional Processing, Meaning Making and Attachment Repair.   • I successfully completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology

  • I lived and worked in Honduras educating youth for two years

  • I worked as an elementary school counselor in two locations: two years in Honduras and two years in St. Louis, Missouri

  • I also worked for five years at the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health program at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Chicago Illinois

  • I worked for two years with NorthShore University Health System's at Evanston Hospital in the MOMS program as a Perinatal Mental Health Clinician through the OB-GYN department

  • I am a certified Yoga instructor and integrate breath work and body movement into sessions

Out of my commitment to healing from trauma and the impact on children and families, I am honored to be on the advisory board for Children's Literature for Children, a non-profit organization which is devoted to placing books in the hands of children worldwide. It has contributed more than two million books to children globally.  As a member of the advisory board, I have visited Kenya twice bringing books to foster reading development programs in private schools, rural public schools, and Thika School for the Blind.
